How Halvard helps

Ships will run on ammonia and methanol. Both need clean hydrogen plus heat, and both are cheapest to make where the ships refuel.

A port-side Halvard plant makes hydrogen by high-temperature electrolysis and uses the blanket heat to drive ammonia synthesis.

One plant makes enough fuel for about 40 large container ships a year.
